Introduction

The City of Toronto is undertaking a Class Environmental Assessment study to investigate basement and surface flooding issues and identify solutions to help prevent future flooding in your area. Please take a few minutes to complete this voluntary questionnaire, which will provide the City of Toronto with additional information on flooding conditions in this area, and will be used to inform the study. This information is not being collected and will not be used for claims or insurance purposes.

Study Area

A study is underway to determine the contributing factors for surface and basement flooding in the City of Toronto and recommend solutions to improve the City's sewer system and overland drainage routes in order to mitigate flooding problems. Study Area 40 location in Yonge-Eglinton area has experienced recurring basement and surface flooding during extreme storms in the past.
